F & B Farm is a 150 year old farm house that we remodeled and landscaped keeping with the old Virginia theme. The house was originally oak and was covered with siding. In some of the walls, the old logs were exposed.

The summer kitchen was converted into a wood working shop where the
butcher blocks, tables, stools and benches are crafted.

Bill and Iris Moss spent 4 years landscaping around the farm house before going
into small scale farming and crafting.  Bill spent 19 years selling, designing and installing landscapes. When visiting the farm, feel free to walk around and
observe the perennials, trees and shrubs.

With the exception of a few large trees, like the fruit bearing pear tree,
every plant was planted by Bill and Iris. Some blacksmith work is
incorporated into the landscape.

  Most of our time is spent outdoors when the weather permits.  Taking a break
on the patio or overlooking the Shenandoah Valley and smelling the  roses is
a nice treat.  Be sure to come and smell the roses in May.

We grow our own vegetables, or at least we try.  A small lily pond with water falls and fish were constructed along with the brick patio.
